For a year-one squad, the response has been class. Players from across the local circuit and further afield reaching out, asking about training, asking about fixtures, asking how to get involved.

If you're a player — fast, fit, and serious about sevens — there's still space in the squad. We're picking on attitude as much as ability. The format rewards work rate and decision-making more than it rewards reputation.
